Three Days of Rain

Single tickets to Three Days of Rain go on sale in January 2015.  If you want to secure seats now, this show is available as part of a season package or available for purchase with a group sale.

A newly discovered journal recalls Greenwich Village in the early 1960s when two young architects (unaware they're on the brink of fame) struggle with plans for the iconic Janeway House. The journal is left to their children thirty years later, who must sort out the murky mystery behind their lives - and loves. This Pulitzer Prize-nominated production will star beloved actors from the Portland-filmed NBC television series GRIMM: Silas Weir Mitchell (MonroeO and Sasha Roiz (Captain Renard).

The Typographer's Dream

This play follows the story of a stenographer, a geographer and a typographer. The Santaland Diaries

Based on the true chronicles of David Sedaris' experience as Crumpet the Elf in Macy's Santaland display, this cult classic riffs on a few of Sedaris' truly odd encounters with his fellow man during the height of the holiday crunch.

Run Time:
Approximately 75 minutes; no intermission.

The Second City's A Christmas Carol: Twist Your Dickens

A complete send-up of the holiday classic, this adult comedy is adorned with the improvisational genius of the legendary comedy troupe The Second CIty, and includes zany holiday sketches, uproarious improv based on audience participation and an ever-changing list of drop-in local celebrities.


Run Time:
Approximately 1 hour and 50 minutes, including one intermission.

Note:
Twist Your Dickens is recommended for 16+; contains mature content and strong language. Children under 6 are not permitted at any PCS production. This production uses strobe lighting and theatrical haze.


Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike

Winner of the 2013 Tony Award for Best Play, complete with all the comic genius that only Christopher Durang can deliver. Vanya and his sister Sonia tolerate their mediocre middle-aged lives, until their movie-star sister Masha returns for a surprise visit with her boy-toy Spike that really shakes things up.

Run Time:

Threesome

A World Premiere! Leila and Rashid, Egyptian Americans with ties to Cairo, attempt to solve their relationship issues by inviting a relative stranger into their bedroom to engage in a threesome.  What begins as a hilariously awkward evening soon becomes an experience fraught with secrets, raising issues of sexiam, possession and independence.

The Lion

One man, six guitars, and a true story of love, loss, family, loyalty, and the redemptive power of music. Direct from an award-winning run at the 2013 Edinburgh Fringe Festival, writer/performer Benjamin Scheuer (winner of the ASCAP Cole Porter Award for songwriting) shares his gripping coming-of-age tale.

The People's Republic of Portland

Portland is garnering lots of attention lately - for our leadership in sustainability; for our food scene; for being, well, weird. And we caught the attention of writer/actor Lauren Weedman and former Daily Show correspondent. What does Portland look like through Lauren Weedman's unique lens?

Cyrano

Set in 17th century France, the classic romantic comedy Cyrano tells the story of a great swordsman with a beautiful soul, who is handicapped by a huge nose that makes him believe he is incapable of being loved by the beautiful Roxane. When he learns that Roxane and a handsome young soldier named Christian are infatuated with each other, he writes beautiful love letters for her suitor that lead to a tragic love triangle. Filled with swordplay and wordplay, Cyrano is beloved for its affirmation of love, friendship and the power of a well-developed sense of humor.
